Mr. Alan Bruce Franks, 56, took his final breath and joined his all mighty creator on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
A Memorial Celebration will be held Saturday, November 16th at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Mark Barnard, 2608 Northfield Rd. Tifton, Ga., at 2:00 PM. His cremains will be buried at Lawrence Cemetery at a later date.
Alan was born on December 27, 1962, in Hinesville, Ga. Never a dull moment from that day on. From fishing, hunting, riding horses or just bossing his baby sisters around, he sure kept his parents on their toes. He graduated in Jacksonville, Fla., and started working with his dad at their electrical company. Although he was an electrician by trade, he was a sportsman at heart! Alan felt his most comfortable in a tree stand or on the water. Some might even say he was THE FISH WHISPERER!!!. There isn't a honey hole in Lake George or The St. Johns River that he didn’t know about. Alan loved life and loved his family.
Mr. Franks is survived by his parents; Calvin and Mary Franks, his fiancée; Amy Cooper, his daughters; Christina Franks and Alyssa Grace, his son; Christopher Franks, two sisters and brothers-in-law; Cindy and Dale Wells and Gail and Mark Barnard and three grandchildren Hunter Franks, Jasmine Cox and Dalton Hill.
Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
