Ann G. (Goff) Patrick

September 20, 1945 — April 5, 2016

Ann Goff Patrick, 70, of Omega died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at her residence.

A Requiem Mass will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Tifton with the Rev. Ellen Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service on Saturday.

Mrs. Patrick was born September 20, 1945 in Moultrie, Georgia to the late E.L. Goff and the late Mattie Smith Goff. She was also preceded in death by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Patrick graduated from Tift County High School in the Class of 1964 and later earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Georgia.  She retired as an elementary school teacher in Tift and Colquitt Counties and Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla.  Mrs. Patrick was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Tifton where she was a member of Bible study and women’s groups.  She loved animals, especially her dogs; and she enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.

Mrs. Patrick is survived by her husband, William Thomas Patrick, III, of Omega; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Ron and Kim Patrick of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ry and Aubrie Patrick of Augusta; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nell and Nick Peterson of Pine Mountain and Myrna and Tom Liner of Albany; her grandchildren, Brycen Patrick, Matthew Patrick, and Reid Patrick; and her two dogs, “Snickers” and “Pepe.”
