Anthony "Tony" Thomas Helms

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Thomas Helms, 70, of Moultrie formerly of Scotland Neck, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Clements Chapel Cemetery in Turner County, conducted by Mr. Daniel Hernandez.

Mr. Helms was born April 4, 1952 in Tarboro, North Carolina to the late Myers Parker Helms and Edna Louise Thomas Helms. Mr. Helms was self-employed in the heating and air condition business. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, wood working, golfing and fishing. Mr. Helms loved his family and especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Helms is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Wiley Helms of Moultrie; his daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Chris Lucas of Nashville, North Carolina; his three grandchildren, Jordan Lucas and wife, Meagan, Cameron Lucas and Chelsea Lucas.
