Mrs. Carolyn Louise Plymale Hiscock, 98, of TyTy, passed away on July 25, 2020 at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Grooverville Cemetery in Brooks County with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Eulogy will be given by Janice Jamison. Mrs. Hiscock’s grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Hiscock was born December 4, 1921 in Colquitt County to the late Robert D. Plymale and Melissa Hart Plymale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edmond Hiscock who died March 14, 1996. Mrs. Hiscock was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Grooverville, Georgia and a homemaker. Miss Carolyn had lived in Brooks County most of her life. She was very active in her church where she served as church secretary, Sunday school teacher and president of Women’s Missionary Union. She was a woman of faith and loved her Lord. Mrs. Hiscock was a great homemaker and received Homemaker of the year from the Extension Homemaker’s Club in Brooks County. She loved to travel, read and garden. One of her greatest joys was her family.
Mrs. Hiscock is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Van Frazier of TyTy and Patsy and Charles Bryan of Tifton; four grandchildren, Dr. Ed Bryan, Michael and Erin Bryan, Christa and Kyle Woods and Jan and Kent Parker; thirteen great grandchildren, Thomas, Lacy and Isaac Bryan, Charlie, Emma, Samuel, Ella and Evelyn Bryan, Jaxon, Greyson and Maddox Woods, Alexis Frazier and Kam Parker. Mrs. Hiscock was the last of thirteen siblings.
