Carolyn Joy (Hillhouse) Lawrence

Carolyn Joy Hillhouse Lawrence, 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her residence in Nashville, Georgia.

A private memorial service will be held at a later day.

Mrs. Lawrence was born September 15, 1952 in Lakeland, Florida to the late Benjamin John Daniel Hillhouse and Ruby Lee Wheeler Hillhouse. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Leon Lawrence who died in 2013; her granddaughter, Jade Brady; one sister, Marilyn Griner and one brother, Danny Hillhouse. Mrs. Lawrence was a retired certified nursing assistant. She had lived most of her life in Berrien County. She loved everyone especially her family. She loved talking on the phone, watching T V, cooking and yardwork.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by one son, Jimmy Vowell of Nashville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Dennis Ray Gaskins of Nashville; two brothers, Benny Hillhouse and Marvin Hall of Nashville; one sister-in-law, Barbara Hillhouse of Nashville.
