Christopher Scott Nunnery

Christopher Scott Nunnery, 52, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m. in Omega Cemetery with Rev. Allen Mullis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16th at the funeral home.

Mr. Nunnery was born September 13, 1965 in Frisbee, Missouri to Judith Lutes Nunnery and the late Cecil Nunnery who died in 2007. He was a truck driver for various companies and had lived in Tifton since 1978. Mr. Nunnery was of Baptist faith and attended Tift County High School. He loved driving trucks and had done so all of his adult life. He loved animals especially dogs and rescued many during his life.

In addition to his Mother, he is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Regina and Andy Hornbuckle of Omega; two brothers, Anthony Nunnery of Sumner and Bobby Nunnery of Crossville, Tennessee; Maternal grandfather, Donald Lutes of Omega and several nieces and nephews.
