Consuelo “Chelo” Duque De Barron, of Tifton, 45, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 in Tift Memorial Gardens with Father Rafael Estrada officiating.
Mrs. De Barron was born August 1, 1974 in Ciudad del Maiz, SLP, Mexico to the late Refugio Duque Zuniga and Emma Trejo Gomez. She was a member of Our Divine Saviour Catholic Church of Tifton and a homemaker. She moved to Tifton seven years ago from Dallas, Texas. “Chelo” loved her family and was the life of the party. She had a great sense of humor and was a second Mother to many of her friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved to garden. Mrs. De Barron was a woman of integrity and was always known as an honest person.
Mrs. De Barron is survived by her husband, Israel Barron of Tifton to whom she was married for twenty-five years; her daughter, Itzel Barron; her sons, Elian Duque Barron and Isael Alexander Barron all of Tifton; her sister, Eugenia Duque; her brothers, Celedonio Duque, Domingo Duque, Celestino Duque, Dionicio Duque, Isidro Duque and Tomas Duque
