Debra Scruggs was a caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She went home to be with the Lord, her King on March 18, 2021 at the age of 67.
Debra was born to Noel Louis and Margaret Fletcher Castaing on March 20, 1953 in West Palm Beach, FL.
Debra loved spending time doing Bible studies. Debra loved the Lord deeply and had a strong relationship with Him. She loved to share the gospel with all she knew. Her unwavering faith in the Lord gave her the strength to endure her daily battle with Multiple Sclerosis through the years.
Among her proudest achievements, Debra was able to obtain her pilot's license and she had a deep passion and love for flying. Debra was proud of her family, children, and grandchildren. She was the mother of 9 children whom she loved very much.
Debra is survived by her husband, Thomas, her two sons, Noel Unruh (Jennifer), Adrian Scruggs, and seven daughters, Margaux Moschera (Matthew), Marthe-Bette Crocco (Joseph), Debra-Drew Scruggs, Anna Moore (Eddie), Angelia Elcan (Paul), Alexius Scruggs, Markie Scruggs and 16 grandchildren.
A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 P.M., Tuesday March 23, 2021 at Taylor-Modeen funeral home in Jupiter Florida with Rev. Jay Pitts officiating. A graveside service will be held in Chula, GA with Dr. Jeff Pangle officiating on Friday March 26, 2021 at 2:00 P.M., where Debra will be laid to rest at Eureka Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 149 Eureka Church Road, Chula, Ga. 31733. Albritton Funeral Directors will be in charge of the interment.
