Denise Marie Aultman

Denise Marie Aultman, 65, born on January 11, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at her nephew's home in Lenox, Georgia. Denise was a beloved figure in the lives of many, known for her warmth, laughter, and dedication to her family and profession.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday February 5th 2026, at Lenox Christian Fellowship, 40 North Rail Road Street Lenox, Ga 31637, with her sister, Pastor Charlene Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Harding Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 P.M. at the church before the service.

Dustin Griffin, Dayton Griffin, Waylon Griffin, Mitch Morgan, Anthony Aultman and Colby Griffin will serve as pallbearers.

Denise attended Cook County High School, then embarked on a remarkable career as a truck driver for Orgill, where she worked diligently for twenty-three years. Her strong work ethic and commitment to her job exemplified her character and determination. Throughout her years on the road, she formed lasting friendships and made memories that would bring joy to her life.

Denise had diverse interests that enriched her life and those around her. She deeply loved to cook, often finding joy in preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. Her passion for dancing was infectious; she could light up a room with her joyful spirit. Yards brimming with blooming plants and manicured lawns reflected her love for yard work, showcasing her nurturing nature. Above all, Denise found immense happiness in driving, a testament to her free-spirited personality. Her cherished dogs were a source of comfort and companionship, filling her days with unconditional love and laughter. Denise was also quite the comedian and like to make people laugh.

Denise’s legacy will be carried forth by her loving family, including her children, Anthony Aultman and Ashley Aultman, and her adored grandchildren, Garrett Duhame and Brandon Duhame and one great grandson Aslon Walker Duhame. She is also survived by her brother, Sean Blackwell, and her sisters, Debra Edenfield, Deedie Morgan (Louis) and Charlene Griffin (Wayne), along with her nieces and nephews, Dayton Griffin (Carrie), Dustin Griffin (Heather), Jessica Wetherbee, Jennifer Edenfield, Mitch Morgan (Ashley), and Asya Morgan and her great nieces and nephews Colby Griffin (Anna), Lexie Estremera (Dom), Kinley Griffin, Waylon Griffin, Georgia Griffin, Madison Monter (Justin), Bridget Wetherbee and Avery Morgan in addition to her great-great nephew, Brammy Estremera.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Millson, and her mother, Bettie Sue Belflower Rowell and one niece Alexis Blackwell. Their memories remain a guiding light for those she leaves behind.

As we remember Denise, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and purpose. Her unwavering spirit and joyful heart will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
