Dorothy Marie (Griner) Kendrick

Dorothy Marie Griner Kendrick, 95, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at South Georgia Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Tift Memorial Gardens with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.

Mrs. Kendrick was born November 23, 1923 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Sam Griner and Alice Dampier Griner.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seburn Olin Kendrick who died in 1989. She was retired from ABAC Bookstore where she took pride in and loved her job. She loved to go to Leroy Rogers Senior Center. Mrs. Kendrick enjoyed time spent with her students. She loved her family.

Mrs. Kendrick is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Kendrick of Jackson, Mississippi, Gerald Kendrick of Tifton, Larry and Donna Kendrick of Tallahassee, Mike and Debbie Kendrick of Charlotte, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Jeff Kendrick, Phillip Kendrick, Jeana Millander; four great grandchildren.
