Mrs. Elza Sharon Thompson Drawdy, 76, of Lenox passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County with Rev. Steve Luke officiating.
James Drawdy, Jacob Helms, Tyler Drawdy, Todd Tyson, Paul McCrary, David Tyson and Drew Lavender will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Drawdy was born September 3, 1944 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Jerome Carson Thompson and Elza Tyson Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Daniel Drawdy who died April 10, 2015 to whom she was married for forty-five years. Mrs. Drawdy was formerly night auditor for Holiday Inn of Tifton and a 1962 graduate of Tifton High School. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook and sew. She was an avid reader and loved doing crafts.
Mrs. Drawdy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Jeannie Drawdy of Tifton; her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and George Helms of Tifton; grandchildren, Drew Lavender, James Drawdy, Tyler Drawdy and Jacob Helms; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Brown, Raegan Drawdy, Kaid Drawdy, Judd Lavender, Haisley Drawdy and Tyson Drawdy and her sister-in-law, Faye Connell of West Berrien Community.
