Ernest Wade Knight, lovingly known as “Bitt,” passed away unexpectedly on May 17th, at the age of 52.
A memorial service to honor Ernest “Bitt” Knight will be held on Friday, May 29th at 2:00pm with Rev. Ike Branch officiating at Albritton Funeral Home.
Bitt was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who was known for his generosity, humor, and unwavering loyalty to the people he loved. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel welcome wherever he went.A hardworking and dependable man, Bitt believed deeply in taking care of family, treating people with kindness, and always showing up for those who needed him. He enjoyed drag racing, working with his hands, discovering new hobbies, and sharing those passions with the people around him.
He will be remembered for his big heart, quick wit, stubborn spirit, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of so many.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Knight; his sons, Chris Knight and Cody Knight; Cody’s partner, Brittany Beaudet; their child, Oliver Knight; his brothers, Clay and Ray Knight; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Ernest Knight.
Rest easy, Bitt. You were deeply loved.
