Esteban built his career as a construction worker for Southern Concrete, where he took great pride in contributing to the construction of bridges—an endeavor that reflected his strength, craftsmanship, and dedication to building connections in both a literal and metaphorical sense. Beyond his career, Esteban found immense joy and fulfillment in his personal passions. He was an avid gardener and a caretaker of chickens and ducks, treasures of the outdoors that brought him peace and satisfaction. His love for nature was evident in every aspect of his life.

A man who delighted most in his role as a father and grandfather, Esteban treasured his family above all else. He was known for his playful spirit and warm humor, always joking and sharing laughter with his grandchildren. His legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Francisca Romero; his children, Hector Badillo, Abundio Badillo, Luis Badillo, Daniel Badillo, Angelica Badillo-Molano, Lupe Badillo, Mariela Badillo, and Angelica Badillo Garcia; his thirty grandchildren; and his great-grandson. He was also deeply loved by his brothers, Justino Badillo Garcia and Bernardo Badillo Garcia, and his sisters, Paula Badillo Garcia, Beatriz Badillo Garcia, Placida Badillo Garcia, and Emilia Badillo Garcia.

Esteban’s spiritual life was a cornerstone of his identity. He loved attending church and embraced his faith with quiet strength, finding comfort and guidance in his beliefs throughout his life’s journey. He was preceded in death by his father, Abundio Badillo Telles, and his mother, Guadalupe Garcia Velasquez.

Esteban Badillo Garcia’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a man who lived with integrity, found joy in family and faith, and nurtured both his garden and loved ones with equal care. His memory will remain a guiding light to those who loved him, reminding us all of the enduring power of love, laughter, and dedication.
