Randy Bryan, Robert Padgett, Johnny Smith, Bob Jones, David Turner and Chris Chavous will serve as pallbearers.

Ed was born on December 31, 1946 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. to the late Francis E. May Sr. and Nancy Setliff May. He was raised in Ft. Lauderdale, married Judy Fletcher May on December 08, 1970 and then moved to Tifton in 1976, where together they raised their three children. He loved his family and was a great provider for them.  Ed was a self employed plumber and the owner of May’s Plumbing and Drain Service which he loved. When Ed first came to Tifton he started the Rotor Rooter business and always referred to himself as “Rotor Rooter”. After the name change to May’s Plumbing, he then called himself “The Crazy Plumber” so no one would confuse him with the other plumbers in town. Rest assured they did not. Most people still refer to him as “The Crazy Plumber”. When he wasn’t plumbing, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching westerns, camping, bee keeping and gardening.

In addition to his wife, Judy, Mr. May is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Bethany May of Covington; two daughters and one son-in-law; Jennifer May Plair of Tifton and Melissa and Tyrone Ragan of Cuthbert; his six grandchildren, Randall Blake Plair, Hannah Nikohl Vinson, Johnathon May, and Destinee Ragan, Ashlee Ragan and Toree Ragan; along with three sisters, Patsy, Phyllis and Nancy and one brother Glen. An honorary mention of Bert Vinson for hundreds of hours of care over the past two years.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Halcyon Hospice of  Valdosta.

Flowers will be accepted or donations to Victory Baptist Church Building Fund, 3917 Hwy 319, Tifton, Georgia 31794 or Faith Missions P.O. Box 487 Dundee, FL 33838.
