Franklin Elijah Clark, Sr

August 28, 1941 — March 7, 2016

Omega-Franklin Elijah Clark, Sr. 74, of Omega, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00A.M., Friday, March 11, 2016 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Dr. Danny Ray officiating. The family will receive  friends  Friday, March 11, 2016 between 9:30AM and 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held at a later date.

Mr. Clark was born August 28, 1941, in Berrien County to Jack Clark and Hazel Booth Clark, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death on March 3, 2013 by his wife, Janice Holt Clark, to whom he had been married 51 years; and one brother, Sammy Clark.

Mr. Clark had lived in Tift County most of his life. He was a self-employed painter/contractor. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an excellent pool player.

Mr. Clark is survived by one son and one daughter- in- law, Frank Jr. and Irene Clark of Omega; two daughters, Donna Marie Clark of Kissimmee, Fla., and Kimberly Joy Clark and Mike of Tifton; four sisters, Marjorey Duncan of Panama City, Fla., Betty Ann Clark of Hamilton, West Va., Rebecca Hiers and Nelson of Enigma, and Peggy and Charles Courson of Tifton; five brothers and six sisters-in-law, Thelma Clark of Tifton, Don and Jenny Clark of Mexico Beach, Fla., Raymond and Linda Clark of Virginia, Thomas and Karen Clark of Atlanta, James Allen and Tammy Clark of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Charles and Kimberly Clark of Tifton; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Murdoch, Melissa and Kevin Katz, Katie and Brandon Clark, April and Tim Richards, Dale and Amy Clark and Jacob Walker; and his two great grandchildren, Morgan Grace Richards and Wesley Clark.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Tift Area, P.O. Box 747,  618 N. Central Ave. Tifton, Ga. 31794.
