Glenda Jean (Sauls) Gosik

Mrs. Glenda Jean Sauls Gosik, 80, of Forest Park, Georgia formerly of Tifton passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Jonesboro Assisted Living Center in Jonesboro, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Larry Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home before the service.

Robert Sauls, Mike Johnson, Alan Johnson, Carl Fortson, Ralph Fortson and Tom Miller will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Gosik was born September 6, 1938 in Tift County to the late William “Bill” Jordan Sauls and Alma Lorene Bartlett Sauls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Richard Gosik who died in 2012.  She was also preceded in death by her three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Gosik was a homemaker and a member of Ash Street Baptist Church of Forest Park, Georgia. She enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Mrs. Gosik is survived by two sons and daughters in law; Henry Alvin “Al” and Dorothy Ellerbee of Ashburn and Robert Gregory “Greg” and Lisa Ellerbee of Kennesaw, five grandchildren; Chris Ellerbee, Gregory Ellerbee, Ethan Ellerbee, Wyatt Ellerbee and Lacey Ellerbee and three great grandchildren; Haley Ellerbee, Cody Ellerbee and Dylan Ellerbee.
