Gloria Lucia Falcon

Gloria Lucia Falcon, 69, of Tifton passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24th at 3:00p.m. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Deacon J. Brian Bergeron officiating. Interment will follow in Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30p.m. at the funeral home before the service.

Mrs. Falcon was born May 12, 1948 in Alamosa, Colorado to the late Gabriel Armijo and Maria Roselia Armijo.  Mrs. Falcon was preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Lucy Falcon and one brother, Richard Armijo. She was married to Ignacio Falcon of Tifton. Mrs. Falcon was a member of Our Divine Savior Catholic Church of Tifton and a homemaker. She loved her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. She was active in her church attending every Sunday while she was in good health. Enjoyed reading the newspaper, working puzzles and playing Mexican bingo. She had lived in Tifton many years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Linda Ortiz, Rosa Falcon and Olga Garcia all of Tifton; three sons, Ricky Falcon, Joe Falcon and Ignacio Falcon, Jr., all of Tifton; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, Xavier Armijo; nine sisters, Jane Lopez, Jean Armijo, Arla Hernandez, Olga Finch, Ernestine Chavez, Christine Chaparro, Peggy Edison, Juanita Chavez and Annette Cox.
