Jackie Roger Peacock, 70, of Lenox died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April1, 2016 at 11AM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Cone officiating.  Interment will follow at Turner Church Cemetery, Enigma.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at the funeral home.

Keith Peacock, Don Peacock, Buck Peacock, Eddie Anderson, MacKenzie Barfield and James Garren will serve as pallbearers.

Lee Cone and Lester Pate will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Peacock was born December 25, 1945 in Tift County to the late William Felton Peacock and Bessie Walker Peacock Crown. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Virginia Cone Peacock and one brother.

Mr. Peacock was a truck driver for Addison Steel. He loved operating a backhoe and being a jokester. He also loved hunting, fishing and helping others. He would give the shirt off his back to help others.

Mr. Peacock is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Keith (Chopper) and Jennifer Peacock of Lakeland, Don and Kimberly Peacock of Hahira, and Buck and Denise Peacock of Lenox; three brothers and two sisters-in-laws, William P. Peacock of Tifton, Robert Wayne and Hildred Peacock of Catalua and Richard Felton and Judy Peacock of Moultrie; one sister and brother-in-law, Ada P. Worrell (Lacy) of Tifton; eleven grandchildren, Courtney Clark, Josh Brogdon, Dustin Peacock, Brianne Peacock, Shylo Peacock, Katie Peacock, Cody Peacock, Paris Peacock, Brittany Peacock, Hannah Peacock and Alaina Peacock; and one great grandchild, Brently McKinney.
