James Olien Brogen, Jr.

James Olien Brogen, Jr., affectionately known as Jimbo, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center, just two days before his 61st birthday. Born on August 3, 1965, in Bradenton, Florida, James’s life was one marked by deep bonds, cherished family, and enduring character.

As per Mr. Brogen wishes, he will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.

Throughout his years, James forged a life grounded in self-respect, integrity, and love for those closest to him. His journey began in Bradenton, surrounded by the caring guidance of his parents, James Brogen and Maddie Sue Fields Brogen, who both preceded him in death. Their legacy lives on in the values James carried throughout his lifetime.

James was the proud and devoted father of two sons, Brandon Brogen and Levi Brogen, who survive him. His unwavering love and support for his sons remained a central part of his life, and those who knew him recognized the strength of the bond they shared. He is also survived by his brother, Randy Brogen and his sisters, Juanita Scott and Ila Harriett Nationhill.

James enjoyed dirt bikes, motor cross racing, video games and the outdoors. He was a handy man and a family man. Though he faced hardships and loss, James’s life was defined by resilience and dignity. His sons and all who loved him will remember his kind presence, his steady nature, and the sense of stability he provided.

As we mourn his passing, we also honor a life lived with quiet commitment to family and to the principles instilled in him from a young age. James Olien Brogen, Jr. will be remembered fondly by his loved ones and missed dearly by those who were fortunate to share in his journey.
