James Marcus Holt

Lenox- James Marcus "Marc" Holt, 64 of Lenox died Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation  in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors on Thursday evening, October 11, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

Mr. Holt was born July 4, 1954 in Tifton.  He was the son of the late James Crawford Holt and Helen Inez Bartlett Holt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Mikie Holt, two great grandchildren Cayson Harper and Saylor Bloxsom, and two brothers Randy Holt and Charles Holt. Mr. Holt had lived in Cook County all of his life.  He was a self employed farmer who loved the land and being outdoors.  He enjoyed playing golf, but most of all he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of forty three years,  Margaret Virginia Gibbs Holt,  three sons and daughters-in-law Robbie and Kerry Clark of Lenox, Will and Summer Holt of Ocilla, and Matt and Mandy Holt of Lenox, one daughter and son-in-law Katie and Chris Robinson of Brooklyn, NY, two sisters and brother-in-law Joy Parker of Adel, Judy and Ronnie Hall, of Lenox and one brother and sister-in-law Bart and Susan Holt of Lenox, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
