John Lee Boyer, 40, of Tifton died Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Charles Price officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 21, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Boyer was born on March 27, 1976 in Easton, Maryland to John Lee Boyer, Sr. and Linda Jackson Boyer of Tifton. He lived in Tifton most of his life. Mr. Boyer graduated from Tift County High School in 1996. He was an active member of 4-H, Y Club and Boy Scouts. Mr. Boyer loved to bowl and had won several awards and trophies. He was most happy when he was working. Mr. Boyer worked for B-Way Sheetmetal Corporation in Homerville as a forklift driver.
Mr. Boyer is survived by one brother, Kenny Boyer, Sr. of Cocoa, Fla.; one sister, Angela Jackson of Tifton; two nephews, Kenny Boyer, Jr. and Andrew Boyd; two nieces, Carly Rodgers and Jessica Pace and his former wife Shea Price Boyer of Nashville.
