John Hillary Keith

John Hillary Keith, 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center, Tifton.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Albritton Funeral Directors, with Rev. Walter Powell officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. before the memorial service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Mr. Keith was born November 1, 1940 in Tift County to the late Raymond Keith and Edna Phillips Keith.

He was a 1958 graduate of Omega High School, and a member of Omega Baptist Church.  Mr. Keith loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and lived to attend their sporting events.  His hobbies included hunting and fishing.  His favorite sports teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Florida Gators, and also enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Mr. Keith is survived by his wife, Dale Hembree Keith, two daughters and sons-in-law, Wren and Terry Davis, Wendy and Preston Taylor, one son Steve Keith all of Omega; nine grandchildren Paige Hill, Dakota Hill, Ryleigh Davis, Alayna Davis, Kaylee Davis, Macey Moorman, Alexis Moorman, Mandy and Bobby Blanchard and Steven Keith; three great grandchildren Kristina Mothershed, Taylor Mothershed and Keaton Keith and a special cousin, who was like a brother to him, David Keith of Omega.
