Mr. Johnny Mosley, 65, of Tifton passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at his former wife and friend residence.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. John Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.
Mr. Mosley was born September 22, 1955 in Jesup, Georgia to the late Johnny Lloyd Mosley and Evelyn Floyd Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Mark Jones. Mr. Mosley was a member of First Baptist Church of Tifton and was self-employed. He grew up in North Georgia and had lived in Tift and Berrien Counties the rest of his life. He was an outdoorsman and loved to fish. Johnny was an avid reader and loved to learn. He loved older rock music. Mr. Mosley loved his family especially his two daughters.
Mr. Mosley is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Mosley of Coffee County and Shelby Mosley of Berrien County; two grandchildren, Reyna Ortega and Lamar Ortega; three sisters and brother-in-law, Deena Jones of Tifton, Kathy and David Murphy of Loganville and Etoye Ansley of Cork Ireland; his former wife and friend, Connie Mosley of Berrien County. He was also survived by his two nephews, Michael Bray, Matthew Jones and his wife Mariana.
