Joseph Edsil Wylie

Tifton – Joseph Edsil Wylie, 57 of Tifton died Friday, July 20, 2018 at his residence.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 28th at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.  A private memorial service will follow the visitation with Father Lonnie Lacy and Kevin Parten officiating.

Mr. Wylie was born October 15, 1960 to John Wylie and Katherine Alice Parten Wylie both whom preceded him in death.  He was a sports enthusiast and loved the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons and watching the Tift County Blue Devils football teams. He loved collecting comic books along with baseball and football cards.  Christmas was his favorite time of the year and swimming was his favorite exercise.  He was a 1978 graduate of Tift County High School.

He is survived by his uncle Ronald Parten and his wife Diane of Ashburn, cousins, Felicia Parten, Kevin and Stormy Parten, Cristy Parten,Rusty and Pam Parten Caleb Parten, Josie Parten, Ava Parten, Hunter Parten, Deanna Parten, and Jonah Mills.
