Larry "Mike" Michael Moore Sr., a cherished husband, father, and devoted member of his community, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 22, 2026. Born on July 23, 1950, in Tifton, Georgia, Mr. Moore's life was marked by his love for family, his dedicated service, and his diverse interests which enriched the lives of those around him.

The visitation to be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Albritton Funeral Directors, located at 1020 Tift Ave N., Tifton, GA 31794. The Graveside service will follow on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Wade Patterson, Dawson Patterson, Ken Marchant, Ed “Bubba” Revels, Jr., Terry Revels, and Charlie Cook will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Lee Carter, Bobby Brannen, Jimmy Woods and Edwin Dailey will be honorary pallbearers.

A proud veteran, Mike served honorably in the U.S. National Guard, demonstrating a deep commitment to his country. His educational journey included three years after graduating from Tift County High School, during which he attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) and Valdosta State University (VSU), reflecting his dedication to personal growth and learning.

Mr. Moore was a man of many passions. He loved fishing and had a remarkable talent for fixing and repairing just about anything. His green thumb was evident in his enjoyment of gardening and tending to his flowers. He enjoyed all types of music. Mike also delighted in the tradition of canning and freezing vegetables, especially corn. Cooking was another of his gifts; he was known as a good cook who his family depended on for their traditional fried turkey. He relished preparing meals not only for himself but for his family and friends.

His devotion to his family was central to his life. Mike is survived by his loving wife Wanda Hall Moore, who stood by his side with unwavering support for thirty-eight years, his son Larry Michael Moore, Jr., along with his brother, Wayne Moore and his wife Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Greta Revels Sinclair whom he loved dearly and was truly devoted to, along with his brothers, Dale Allen and Benny Allen.

Mike’s legacy is one of unconditional love and generosity, who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life well-lived. He was an avid supporter of UGA football, embodying the spirit and camaraderie that sports can inspire, and he enjoyed spending time with his dog, Bodie.

Mike lived a life of purpose and kindness, leaving behind a lasting impression on all who knew him. His memory will be treasured by those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
