Laverne Willene (Wright) Partin

Mrs. Laverne Willene Wright Partin, 82, of Waterloo Community passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery in Waterloo with Dr. Jeff Pangle and Rev. Donnie Wright officiating.

Casey Joyner, Joe Wright, Adam Wright, Craig Harpe, Luke Walker, Chad Sutton and Jacob Joyner will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Partin was born May 5, 1938 in Irwin County to the late Allison David Wright and Vertie Agnes Shiflett Wright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Partin and her sister, Janice Holden. Mrs. Wright attended Waterloo Baptist Church and was a retired Store Keeper and Spice Demonstrator. She loved traveling, reading, cooking, family gatherings and activities with firecrackers. Laverne had a great sense of humor and was always jolly and happy.

Mrs. Partin is survived by her son, Kenny Neil Wright of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Donnie Wright and Debra of Tifton; two sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda and Charles Joyner of Chula and Melba Jean Wright of Terry, Miss.; her grandchildren, Amber Lindsey and Candice Conover and three great grandchildren.

Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
