Linda Fay (Aultman) Childers

Mrs. Linda Fay Aultman Childers, 77 of Ocilla went home to be with her Lord on September 10, 2022. She was the precious Mother of four beautiful daughters:  Sherry, Teresa, Kathy, and Suzie.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. John Sikes Gibbs, Jr. and Rev. Chuck Yzenski officiating.    The interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest, beside the love of her life, her husband, Rev. Paul J. Childers of forty-seven years, before he went home to be with his Lord on October 12, 2007.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening September 13, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors.

Shane Pryor, Cory Pryor, Aaron Pryor, Jason Tyree, Stephen Wood and Stan Wood will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Yzenski, Roger Aultman, Terry Aultman, Stan Aultman, Gene Black and Gary Smith.

Linda was born in Tifton to Frank C. Aultman, Sr. and Vinitta Perrin Aultman.  She was the oldest daughter in her family of sixteen children.  She was known as her siblings’ little Mama helping to care for her younger brothers and sisters whom she dearly loved.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her “Grandy” William Landrum Perrin, and her siblings, Wilma Aultman, Frank “Bim” Aultman, Jr. Billy Aultman, Jayne Tripp (Harold), Sandra Aultman, Ilene Kent, Donnie Culpepper and Cheryl Aultman, and her great grandchildren, Camryn Johnson, Kelsi Wood and Jaxx White.

She is survived by her four daughters and their husbands, Sherry and Jim Pryor, Teresa and Chuck Yzenski, Kathy and Mike Wilson and Suzie and Steve Wood, Thirteen grandchildren: Shane, Cory, Aaron, Georgia, Olivia, Rachel, Robin, Chad, Jason, Lacie, Lauren, Stephen, and Stan, twenty-three great-grandchildren and her siblings and their spouses: Carolyn Holsenbeck, Marsha Aultman, Deborah Culpepper (Donnie), Roger Aultman, Tamza Black (Gene), Terry Aultman, Wanda Smith (Gary), Norma Aultman, and Stan Aultman (Cheryl) along with in-laws, Gwen Aultman, Janice  Aultman, and Sammy Kent.
