Linda (Tucker) Jordan

Mrs. Linda Tucker Jordan, 74, Tifton, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Adel City Cemetery on East 4th St. in Adel with Rev. Thomas Parrish officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, February 7, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Stanley Arrington, Gerald Jordan, Billy Hall, Brian McNabb, Will Parrish and Lyn Parrish will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Jordan was born June 30, 1947 in Cook County to the late Eugene Tucker and Pauline McDaniel Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Eugenia “sister” McNabb and one brother, Wayne Eugene Tucker.  Mrs. Jordan had worked as secretary with the Coastal Plains Experiment Station and as an x-ray tech with Tift Regional Medical Center. She lived most of her life in Tifton where she enjoyed being with her family and friends. Mrs. Jordan also had a love for gardening, flower arranging and going to the beach.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Larry Jordan of Tifton; her sons and daughter-in-law, John and Anna Domagala and Jason Jordan all of Tifton; her daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Ann Chaney and Chris Chaney of Tifton; four grandchildren, Wells Scott, Brianna Domagala, Whit Jordan, and Colton Chaney; one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Sheila Tucker of Pavo; two sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Parrish and Joyce and Bob Arthur all of Adel. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
