Linda C. Walker Myers, age 81, of Tifton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA on August 23, 2025. Born on February 7, 1944, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Carolyn Naomie Cooper and Clifford Haynes Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Stacy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 279 Benjamin H Hill Dr E, Fitzgerald, GA 31750. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. at the funeral home before the service.
Deacons of Northside Baptist Church of Tifton will serve as pallbearers.
In 1959, Linda married her friend and lifelong partner, W. Damon Myers, beginning a journey of love, faith, and family that would span decades. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to those she loved and her deep faith in Jesus Christ.
Linda was a cherished member of Northside Baptist Church in Tifton, where she was known for her infectious smile, her genuine love of Christ, and her relentless drive to help others. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, and her legacy of compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She retired from Jones Chrysler Plymouth Dodge in Tifton, where she was a respected and valued member of the team. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Damon, her son J. Keith Myers, Sr., and her daughter-in-law Karen Myers.
Linda is survived by her son, Richard Mark Myers of Tifton; her grandchildren, Matthew (Elza) Myers of Colorado Springs, CO, Joel (Ashley) Myers of Green Cove Springs, FL, Melinda (Bryan Clishe) Myers of Traverse City, MI, and Kelli (Murray) Sloan of Tampa, FL; her great-grandchildren, Raelan Myers, Henley Myers, Holly Sloan, Corvin Myers, and Case Myers; her brother, Randy (Marta) Walker of Valdosta; her sisters-in-law, Shirley (Ed) Jordan of Tifton, Judy (Larry) Bellamy of Fitzgerald.
Her family and friends will remember her as a beacon of love, strength, and faith.
