Linda Kay Walters

Ms. Linda Kay Walters, 70, of Tifton passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at her residence.

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Landon Alberson officiating. A Eulogy will be given by her son David. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 5:45 P.M. before the service at the funeral home.

Ms. Walters was born June 21, 1949 in Fort Riley, Kansas to the late Marcus Reid Walters and Lillian Harrison Walters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Aubrey Eugene Walker, Jr. Ms. Walters was a member of Unity Tabernacle Holiness Church of Tifton and a homemaker. She had lived in Tifton most of her life. Ms. Linda had been active in Meals on Wheels program.  She loved crocheting and cross stitching. She was a loving Mother who never met a stranger. Loyalty was a virtue she embraced.

Ms. Walters is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law Marcus Abram Walker and David Wayne and Nikki Walker all of Tifton; grandchildren William Marcus Walker, John Abram Walker and Jordon David Walker; her brother and sister-in-law Michael and Nancy Walters of Chattanooga, Tennessee and also survived by the father of her children Butch Walker of Tifton and her husband of thirty-three years, Tim Wiggins of Tifton and his daughter Sara Lynn Wiggins.
