Louis Watson, Jr.

Tifton - Mr. Louis Watson, Jr., 78 of Tifton died on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Regency Hospital in Macon, Georgia.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. John Thomas officiating. The interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Joshua Hilton, Max Ledlow, Zenus Waton, Jack Kirkland, Robert Kirkland, Gabriel Kirkland and Louis Smith will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Watson was born February 18, 1939, in Worth County to the late Louis Watson, Sr. and Gladys Hobbs Watson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Gail Faaborg and granddaughter Lakin Watson.

Mr. Watson attended Tifton's First Assembly of God church, drove a truck for Cohen's Department store for many years and  was a veteran of the U. S. Army.   He loved country music, dancing, walking and he was an avid weight lifter.  He loved his family and grandchildren very much.

Survivors are his wife Barbara Watson, daugther and son-in-law Connie and Charles Ledlow of Tifton, three sons and one daughter - i n- law, Jefferson "Jet" Watson, Wayman and Deloris Watson, and William Watson all of Tifton, one sister Margaret Dillard, of Tifton, three brothers and two sisters-in-law Sonny Dale and Connie Watson of Greenville, FL, Leon Watson of Albany, and Bobby and Faye Watson of Albany.
