Louise Jackson, 82 of Enigma died Monday, April 11, 2016 at The Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. Dan Eidson officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. -  8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Chad Rodgers, John Boyer Jr., Kenny Boyer and James Jackson will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Jackson was born September 15, 1933, in Baltimore Maryland to the late Clarence and Elizabeth Long Whitby. She was one of fifteen children.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of Victory Baptist Church and resided as a homemaker in Enigma Georgia for most of her life. She enjoyed reading, writing poems and songs. She had many pen pals all over the U.S. with whom she enjoyed swapping recipes and address labels. Mrs. Jackson loved her Lord and loved to share her testimony with others.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Kenneth Scott Jackson, Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Jackson.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott Jackson of Enigma, Howard Jackson of Preston Maryland and Earl and Dana Jackson of Brookfield, two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Lee Boyer of Tifton and Joan Jackson of Ridgley, Maryland; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
