Oveida Clyatt Blosch Harrison, 90, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. Born on November 13, 1934, in Chiefland, Florida, she lived a life enriched with love, family, and faith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 26, 2025 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Dr. William D. Blosch officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home before the service.
A graduate of Chiefland, Florida High School, Oveida went on to work as a clerk for Carriage Cleaners for many years, where she became known for her dedication and warm spirit. Her genuine smile left an enduring impression on the many customers who frequented the establishment.
Oveida cherished cooking and reading, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her passion for preparing meals brought family and friends together, creating lasting memories that would be treasured by those who gathered around her table.
A proud member of Victory Baptist Church of Tifton, Oveida found strength and comfort in her faith, which played a significant role in her life. She was deeply connected to her spiritual community, where she shared her warmth and kindness with others.
She is survived by her sons, Clinton David Blosch and William Darrell Blosch (Connie), who carry her legacy through their love and kindness. Oveida took great pride in her family, including her granddaughter, Celina Blosch, and her grandsons, William David Blosch and Joseph "Joey" Michael Blosch. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Louie Earl Clyatt.
Oveida reunites in eternal rest with her first husband, Arthur David Blosch, and her husband, Chester Ervin Harrison. She is also preceded in death by her father, Samuel Clyatt; her mother, Rose Fletcher Clyatt; and her six brothers.
Oveida Harrison will be remembered not only for her nurturing and caring nature but also for the unwavering love she showcased throughout her life. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
