Patricia Ann (Adams) Turner

Ms. Patricia Ann Adams Turner, 67, of Tifton, passed away on September 14, 2020 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 at 4:30 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. W. E. Fogarty officiating. Eulogy will be given by Harriet Felts. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:15 P.M. before the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lawrence Cemetery.

Kyle Turner, Matt Turner, Justin Cochran, Greg Turner, Jose Greponne, Shane Rugg, D. J. Parkerson and McKennzey Manning will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mackenzie Turner, Lupe Hernandez, Ricky Hernandez and Jay Walker.

Ms. Turner was born March 26, 1953 in Corona, Alabama to the late Hollis Lee Adams and Maebell Griffin Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rayford Adams and Jerry Adams. Ms. Turner was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Ann loved to participate in activities for her church. She loved to fish, play cards, cook and grill. She was a woman with a big heart and loved helping others. Ms. Turner loved her grandchildren especially, spending time with them. Her best friend was her dog, Mr. Maxx.

Ms. Turner is survived by her sons, Dwight and Doris Benefield of Gainesville, Dwayne and Julie Benefield of Ashburn and Chris Turner and his fiancé, Laura Harris of Ocilla; her sister and brother-in-law, Martha Nell and Robert Baker of Des Plaines, Illinois; her brother and sister-in-law, Homer and Rose Adams of Tifton; twenty three grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; her step-children, Lee Turner of Tifton, Greg Turner of Montgomery, Alabama, Michael Turner of Cullman, Alabama and Lisa Turner Harris of TyTy; daughter-in-law, Casey Lynn Turner of Tifton and many nieces and nephews.
