Paul Randall McLemore

Paul Randall McLemore, 72, of Tifton, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Pruitt HealthCare in Sylvester.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 30, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with the Rev. Greg Love and Rev. Lance Sumner officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Jason Walker, Russell Hill, David Ellis, Terry Kendrick, Buddy Smith, Mike Baker, Carl Johnson and Wesley Belk will serve as pallbearers. Johnnie Walker, Jerry Coley, Wendell Westbrook, Lee Rivers, Gene Cannon, Carl Kelly, John Weaver, Douglas Dolney, Ray Powers, Tony Bennett, Frankie Mathis and Ernie Bishop will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. McLemore was born on July 23, 1944 in Albany to the late Cauley and Myrta Lee Brady McLemore. He graduated from Albany High School, later attended Albany Jr. College and served in the United States Navy. Mr. McLemore was employed by Southern Bell and retired after over 30 years of service.  He was a member of the Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the Funsters Clown Unit with Hasan Temple in Albany.  Mr. McLemore was an avid Nascar and Tift County Blue Devil fan. He was a member of  Northside Baptist Church and also the Tift Area Auto Club.

Mr. McLemore loved his family very much. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Chad Sumner of Tifton; his son, Paul McLemore Jr. of Marietta; his two grandchildren, Cameron and Anna Leigh Sumner of Tifton; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Dave Wallen of Sylvester and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Wanda Harrell McLemore, Mr. McLemore was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
