Peggy Jean Mauldin Deming

Peggy Jean Mauldin Deming, a beloved bookkeeper and Certified Nursing Assistant in the medical field, has passed away at the Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. She was born on November 19, 1935, in Trion, Georgia.

There will be no formal services held in Tifton. A memorial service will be held in Washington State.

Peggy led a remarkable life filled with memories that touched the hearts of those who knew her. One of the most significant chapters of her story unfolded when she met her husband while working as a bookkeeper for the Boy Scouts of America in Los Angeles, California. 

Those closest to Peggy will always remember her for her vibrant personality and her love for taking charge. Whether it was in her professional life as a dedicated bookkeeper or during her time as a CNA with the Visiting Nurses Association, Peggy exuded an air of competence and confidence that inspired those around her.

Peggy's family held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Duncan J. Deming, her father William Clyde Mauldin, her mother Nora Ethel Hawkins Mauldin, her brothers and sister-in-law, Lawrence Clayton Mauldin and Shirley Jean Rogers Mauldin and Hilton Mauldin.

Peggy is survived by her son Colin Deming of Marysville, Washington. Colin was not only a source of pride but also brought immense joy to his mother's life. Peggy also leaves behind remarkable memories with her grandson Donovan Deming and great-grandson Luke Deming.

Throughout Peggy's life journey, she demonstrated resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. She touched the lives of so many people, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
