Mr. Prudencio “Prudy-Tool” D. Hernandez, 66, of Enigma passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 10, 2022 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Rebecca King officiating. A eulogy will be given by his daughter, Victoria Hernandez. Interment will follow at Enigma City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Jody Willis, Greg Shoupe, James Wright, Celerino Gonzalez, Richard Elshmen and Erasmo Hernandez will serve pallbearers.
Mr. Hernandez was born May 19, 1956 in Ciudad Del Maiz, S.L.P. Mexico to Anastasia Diaz and the late Ignacio Hernandez. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Joan Baldree Hernandez who died April 26, 2016, his brother, Francisco Hernandez Diaz and two sisters, Margarita Hernandez Diaz and Gloria Hernandez Diaz. Mr. Hernandez attended the Enigma Congregational Christian Church. He worked with BASF in Sparks for twenty-two years as a forklift driver and material handler. Mr. Hernandez was a kind warmest, loving father and papi. He loved to spend time with his family, dancing, watching wrestling and walking Sabastian. Very dedicated father never gave up no matter what. He will be greatly missed by so many.
Mr. Hernandez is survived by his daughter, Victoria Hernandez of Enigma, his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Chelsea Hernandez of Tifton; his grandchildren, Hannah Dorsey and Breanna Hernandez; his brother Luis Hernandez; three sisters, Blanca Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez and Ma. Marcos Hernandez Diaz and along with numerous nieces and nephews.
