Richard L. Case

Richard Case (86), loving husband, father, granddaddy, pops, fisherman, baker, and gardener, passed away on Sunday, June 25th, 2023.

He was always surrounded by the very special women in his life. His forever love, Audrey Case, whom he was happily married to for 64 wonderful years, their two daughters, Donna Case, Angela White (Mitchell White) and honorary third daughter/granddaughter Brittany Haymes.

He took extreme pride in his grandchildren, Brittany Haymes (Michael), Christopher McKenzie (Kendra) and Amber McKenzie. He wore the name ‘Pops’ proudly to his great-grandchildren, Holden & Liv (Brittany/Michael) and Dalys & James (Christopher/Kendra) and loved them dearly.

Richard proudly served in the Air Force for 20 years while moving throughout the states with his family. His passion for fishing originated from fishing the California coast and carried throughout his life. While his love for fishing was second to none, you could find him winning bowling tournaments in his younger years, in the garden caring to his vegetables, at the table with friends playing a competitive game of dominos or in the kitchen baking the famous little-layer cakes at Cakes by Audrey.

Anyone who knew Richard knows his love for people and socializing. He was always up for a good laugh and could talk your ears off for hours. He catered to others needs and loved his family and friends more than anything. He will be deeply missed and our memories with him will live on forever.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 28th, 6:00 p.m. at Waterloo Baptist Church (Chula, GA) with Pastor, Dr. Jeff Pangle officiating, followed by a burial at Waterloo Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors, one hour prior (5:00-5:45 p.m.) to the service at Waterloo Baptist Church, 124 Waterloo Church Lane, Chula, GA 31733.
