Rockwell “Brandon” Lott, Jr., 52 born January 26, 1974, in Tifton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, at his residence in Chula, Georgia. He was deeply cherished by all who knew him and will be remembered for his quiet strength and unwavering dedication to the land he loved.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Oakridge Cemetery with Mr. Wes Shannon officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kason Layfield, Adam Wilson, Jess Lott, Zekeil Lott, Reg Lott and Jason Layfield.
He was a farmer by profession, Brandon found fulfillment and purpose in the rural life.
Brandon was a proud graduate of Tift County High School, class of 1995. His school years were marked by a strong work ethic and a grounded approach to life that carried through to his adult years.
Outside of his work, Brandon held dear many simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, activities through which he fostered a profound appreciation of nature. Equally important in his life was his beloved chihuahua dog, Chewy, whose companionship brought him immeasurable happiness and comfort.
He is survived by his loving parents, Rocky Lott and Judy Dale Lott; his devoted brother Deke Lott and wife Brandy; and his sister Rosha Layfield and husband Jason. Brandon’s family also extends to his cherished nieces and nephews: Millie, Lannie, and Kason Layfield along with Zekeil, Zavannah, ZeeLee and Zoey Lott. These family ties formed the foundation of his life, offering love and support through every season.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tom and Judy Gibson and his paternal grandparents, Henry and Eugenia Lott, whose memories he held close in his heart.
Brandon Lott’s life was marked by humility, dedication, and love for his family and the simple joys of life. His legacy remains in the fertile fields he tended, the cherished memories he created, and the enduring bonds he formed with those he loved. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered.
