Ronald Paul Kirby, Jr.

Ronald Paul Kirby, Jr., 55, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 3:00pm in Omega Cemetery with Rev. John Thomas officiating. The visitation will be held before the service at Albritton Funeral Directors from 1:00 to 2:30pm.

Randy Wiley, Bo Hicks, Justin Hinson, David Hinson, III and Robert Kirkland will serve as pallbearers. Gordon Kirby and David Hinson will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Kirby was born September 6, 1962 in Leesburg, Florida to Mary Lou Blevins Kirby of Tifton and the late Ronald Paul Kirby, Sr. Mr. Kirby was self-employed Thrift Store operator and owner of Image That and Then Some. He was raised in Tifton’s First Assembly of God, graduated Tift County High School in 1981 and a Veteran of U.S. Army. He enjoyed salt water fishing and building furniture. Ron loved guns and was an excellent marksman.

Among his survivors are his four daughters and two sons-in-law Beth and Randy Wiley of Tifton, Dawn Kirby of Austin, TX, Chrys Kirby of Tifton and Ronnye and Bo Kicks of Tifton: one sister and brother-in-law Carla and David Hinson of Norman Park, brother Gordon Kirby of Norman Park, two nephews David Hinson, III and Justin Hinson.

Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
