Edwina “Rose” Moreland Adams, 60, born on September 4, 1965, in Tifton, Georgia, passed away on September 19, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 22, 2025 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Mr. Tony Bruner officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Brittney Bruner, Samantha Bruner, Drew Bruner, Andy Bruner, David Fogarty, Michael Johnson and Ronnie Dillard will serve as pallbearers.
Rose dedicated many of her working years as a cashier for Walmart, where her warm smile and friendly nature made every customer's day a little brighter. Beyond her professional life, Rose was a devoted family member who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly spending time with her husband and especially her beloved grandbabies. She had a deep appreciation for family gatherings, often recalling the treasured conversations that filled the air with laughter and warmth. Rose also found solace in nature and enjoyed fishing, a pastime that allowed her to connect with the peaceful surroundings she loved. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Rose is survived by her mother, Barbara Crider children, Cathy Bruner (Tony) of Tifton, Kem McMillan (Richard) of Ocilla, Talmadge Adams (Rose) of New Mexico, Homer Adams, Jr., of Enigma, Larry Barnes of Brunswick, and Shawn Dillard of Tifton; her sixteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; her brothers, Tim Moreland (Marisol) and Greg Moreland; as well as several nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
She was predeceased by her husband, Homer Dewitt Adams, Sr.; her father, Clifford Moreland, her sister, Leigh Durrah, and grandson Austin Adams and baby brother all of whom were integral figures in her life and whom she loved dearly.
Rose Adams will be remembered not only for her unwavering love for her family but for the joy she brought into their lives. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories she created and the lives she touched.
