Sally Nell (Johnson) Handley

Mrs. Sally Nell Johnson Handley, 68, of Tifton, passed away on September 14, 2020, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 P.M.  before the service at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Handley was born October 27, 1951 in Cook County, Georgia to the late Robert Lonnie Johnson and Cora Lee Griffin Johnson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Handley enjoyed being with people and was selfless when it came to helping others. Sally loved her family especially her grandchildren. She loved raising flowers and sitting on her porch talking with her family and friends.

Mrs. Handley is survived by her husband, James Lee Handley, Sr., of Tifton to whom she was married for fifty-one years; two sons and daughter-in-law, James Lee Handley, Jr., of Tifton and Tommy Joel and Carla Handley of Lakeland; one daughter, Jennifer Rose Handley of Tifton; six grandchildren, Jaycee Handley, Jessie Handley, Hunter Bostick, Breanna Bostick, Joy Lynn Handley and Hank Handley.
