Sandra Ann (O'Quinn) Cromer

Sandra Ann O’Quinn Cromer, 77, of Tifton passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 4th at 3:00 p.m. in Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Chula with Rev. Larry Layfield officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Carl Goodwin, Bill Clements, Rod Griffin, Sidney Cromer, Winfred Jones, Carbis Chappell and Bobby Thompson.

Mrs. Cromer was born April 5, 1941 in Tifton to the late Curtis Edward O’Quinn and Mildred Irene Nolan O’Quinn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teena Pittman who died November 28, 2006. She was married to Billy Ronald “Nip” Cromer for fifty-eight years.   Mrs. Cromer was a homemaker and had lived all her life in Tift County. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Chula where she was church musician for many years.  She was an accomplished pianist and loved playing the piano. Her family was the center of her life. She enjoyed flowers and was an expert at their raising and care. She also enjoyed traveling especially to California. She graduated from Tifton High School in 1959.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Julie Hampton of Ashburn; her son, Brian Cromer of Tifton; three grandchildren, Cody Abbott, Zalana Roig, Chris and Juliana Hampton; three great grandchildren, Natalie Hampton, Olivia Hampton and Ana Hampton.
