Sandra "Sandy" (Warren) Arrington

Mrs. Sandra “Sandy” Warren Arrington, 64, of Tifton passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 4:30 P.M. in Tift Memorial Gardens with Rev. Greg Love officiating.

Mrs. Arrington was born November 8, 1956 in Seymour, Indiana to the late David Max Warren and Virginia Mae Ward Warren. Mrs. Arrington was a member of CrossView Baptist Church of Tifton and employed with South Georgia Bank for thirty-five years. She was Senior Vice President of Loan Operations. Sandy had lived in Tifton all of her adult life. She was very proud of her long career in banking. Sandy loved her family especially her grandchildren who were her absolute world. She loved to travel with her family and friends. Sandy loved to attend Elvis Tribute Shows and especially enjoyed Elvis gospel music. Mrs. Arrington was a lady of true faith and was very active in her church teaching Sunday School and working quietly behind the scenes. She was a beautiful, giving person and always stood ready to help others in need.

Mrs. Arrington is survived by her husband, Travis Arrington of Tifton to whom she was married for thirty-seven years; her daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Adam Tanner of Cleveland, Georgia; her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Joanna Hand of Tifton; four grandchildren, Macy Hand, Logan Hand, Beau Tanner and Emmarie Tanner; her brother, Jeff Warren of Ocala, Florida; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Merrell Drawdy of Tifton, Brenda May of Tifton and Peggy and Clarence Thacker of Lexington, Ky. Also survived by several nephews and nieces.
