Suzanne (Olds) Newton

Ms. Suzanne Olds Newton, 72, of Tifton passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her residence.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Newton was born July 15, 1949 in Minden, Louisiana to the late J. D. Olds and Anita Louise Johnson Olds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Olds. Miss Newton had lived in Tift County since 1974. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved to cook and read. Miss Suzanne enjoyed the outside and riding her bicycle around town. She loved animals and enjoyed puzzle books. Miss Newton graduated from high school in Fitzgerald.

Ms. Newton is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robby and Alicia Newton of Tifton; her grandson, Jonathan Newton of Tifton; her niece, Kimberly Olds Eslinger and Greg of Marietta and her great nieces Hannah and Lindsay Eslinger of Marietta.
