Wilbur Troy Goodman

Tifton - Mr. Wilbur Troy Goodman, 80  of Tifton passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Hospice Chaplain Landon Alberson officiating.  Interment will follow in Tift Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday. March 1, 2016  5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Albritton Funeral Directors.

Josh Goodman, Justin Goodman, Michael Goodman, Chase Goodman, Hardy Goodman, Jay Rigsby and Matt Rigsby will serve as pall bearers.

Mr. Goodman was born May 5, 1935 in Tift County where he lived most of his life.  He was born to his parents Wright Goodman and Nellie Sumner Goodman both of whom preceded him in death. Being a self employed farmer, he loved the country life of working on the farm and quail hunting.  His family especially his grandchildren were the center of his life.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Patsy Nell Willis Goodman, four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Sylvia Goodman of Brookfield, Craig and Keelie Goodman of Tifton, Clay Goodman of Brookfield and Chris and Lisa Goodman of Ty Ty, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, sister - in - law Mary Kathryn Rigsby and her husband Jackie.  He was preceded in death by a daughter - in - law Denise Goodman, four brothers and two sisters.

Albritton Funeral Directors is in charge of services.
