Winette Lupo Fletcher

Winette Lupo Fletcher, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was born on October 23, 1955, in Irwin County to the late Bonnie and Thomas J. Lupo, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Eureka Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula, Georgia. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors.

Winette lived most of her life in the South Georgia area where she graduated from Tift County High School and worked at Fitzgerald Underwear and Queen Carpet. She raised her family in the Waterloo Community in Irwin County and attended Waterloo Missionary Baptist Church. She accepted the Lord as her Saviour around the time she was thirty years old.

Together with her husband Ronald, she joyed going out to eat and spending quality time with each other. She always made sure that her house was squared away. She was a great cook and knew how to make desserts tastes so good. She would often take walks down the dirt road by their house while her son, David rode his bicycle beside her to keep her company. She definitely loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Fletcher, and her sons, Tommy Payne, David Fletcher and his wife Candice, Eric Fletcher, her grandchildren, Dustan Fletcher, Kadan Fletcher Wyatt Fletcher, Will Payne Elijah Fletcher, Connor Fletcher, Colby Fletcher, Caden Fletcher, and Mackenna Payne, her great granddaughter, Saylor Fletcher and her brothers, Terry Lupo and Gary Lupo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie and Thomas Jefferson Lupo, Jr., her sister Tracy Lupo, and her son William Fletcher.

She will be remembered for her pleasant, sweet, and kind demeanor, which left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know her.
