David Richard Chalfant

David Richard Chalfant, 61, of Tifton passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his residence.

A  memorial service will be held April 24, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton funeral Directors with Dr. Jarred Hammet officiating.

David was born March 13, 1959 in Madison, Wisconsin to Richard "Dick" Bruce Chalfant and Marjorie McCulloch Chalfant.  He was of the Presbyterian faith and a self-employed painter.  David graduated from ABAC and attended VSU and UGA.  He loved music and played  the bass and acoustic guitars in many bands.  His love was playing the sixty’s and seventy’s Rock N’ Roll music.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by his two sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy Jo Chalfant of Tifton and Barbara Anne and David Swack of Athens.
