Karl Dennis Edmondson

Karl Dennis Edmondson, 58 of Tifton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Rev. Murray Hand officiating. A private interment will follow the service at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be employees of Buddy’s Home Furnishing.

Karl, “Paw Paw” and “Boss Man” was the most humble, loving person and will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him. He graduated 1981 from Westbrook High School in Dixie, Georgia. He attended The Avenue Church in Tifton. Karl was the manager of Buddy’s Home Furnishing. He loved his job and all his employees like family. Karl worked for many years with Checkers and Save A Lot.

Karl was born October 16, 1962 in Quitman to the late Dennis and Shirley Edmondson. He was also preceded in death by his brother David Edmondson.

Karl is survived by Tina Edmondson, the love of his life and best friend for sixteen years. They loved playing in NeNe and Paw Paw’s pool with their grandchildren, going to the beach, but most importantly Popeye’s Chicken was a priority stopping point. His children, Jessi (Brandon) Holley, Jered (Julie) Edmondson, Matthew Edmondson, Heather Danielle Edmondson and Logan Little. The other part of his heart was his grandchildren, Athens and Chapel Holley. His surviving siblings, Donna (Dennis) Wilson, Melissa Broome, Brian Edmondson and Erika Edmondson.
