Pauline Kay (Black) Sizemore

Mrs. Pauline Kay Black Sizemore, 80, of Quitman passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Presbyterian Nursing Home of Quitman.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 A.M. at Albritton Funeral Home before the service at graveside.

Mrs. Sizemore was born January 2, 1943 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Paul Black and Henrietta Bowman Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Sizemore and her brother, Gordon Black.

Mrs. Sizemore graduated from high school in Pensacola, Florida. She was a former member of First Assembly God of Tifton and was retired from Tift County Board of Education as a para professional at Annie Belle Clark School after thirty years. She enjoyed her job and the children in her class always knew she loved them. She loved spending time with her family and especially liked to cook for her grandchildren.

Mrs. Sizemore is survived by her children, John Clayton Sizemore of Tifton, Kelly Pollard of Valdosta and Angie and Gabriel Kirkland of Tifton; her grandchildren, John Sizemore, Kristi Sizemore, Tori Kirkland, Shaun O’Neill, II, Caroline Gore, Kaytlin Grantham, Cade Kirkland and Jonathan Pollard; her brother, Henry Lamar Black of Pensacola, Florida.
